I always blow bOOmers minds when they talk about how far left the “the left” has gone, when I tell them, that “the right” shifted an equal amount to the left with them in the last QC. When I ask them why they don’t openly talk about and bitch about that, they usually get angry. Here in Louisiana we use to have what was called a blue dog Democrat back in the 80s, and 90s. When I tell them to think back to that time, and compare their political views to a Republican today, that usually makes the lightbulb go off even if just for a moment.
