Lots of people will say they are lactose intolerant and refuse to eat any dairy products. But lactose is only present in sufficient quantities to cause problems in milk and cream. Practically all cheese, yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese, and so on all have had the lactose removed or broken down by enzymes during fermentation and won’t cause problems. I know a lot of people fake gluten allergies too. What is the problem/mental illness happening here?

This exactly. After a “detox phase”, I’m usually good with bread for a few weeks. Then I’m back to feeling groggy and joint pain
