While we're on the topic.. Christ NEVER claimed he was God. He always pointed to The Father as being the true and ONLY God. Satan twisted people's comprehension to elevate Christ to the position of God, which is terrible blasphemy in the eye of God (associating partners to God). The Church corrupted and continuous to corrupt Christ's teachings. When JC comes back, he will smash the Church.
