Exactly. There are plenty of people who have partial Asian, Hispanic, or MENA ancestry who are more European-looking than many in those groups (southern Portuguese, Andalusians, Sicilians, etc.)

Finding out that the majority of Cubans are white is weird. A lot of them genuinely **can** trace their ancestry to Iberia.
Just look at Castro and Guevara. The most spaniard motherfuckers who ever lived and they fit all the stereotypes in their personal lives too. The taino existed, sure, but there werent many of them. Maybe 100,000 in cuba, and most of them incidentally died from disease. Whatever genetic input they have is mostly noise. The spanish ran cuba like how the english ran the southeastern US. As a result, most Cubans are either white or black. Contrast this with the Dominican Republic. Or even Haiti or Jamaica

Isn't it a known fact that gene analysis companies knowingly add trace African ancestry to DNA tests? Swear I've seen that before. Feel free to prove me wrong though. I'd believe the Native American part though, a lot of people I know for a fact have trace Native ancestry usually around 5-7 generations ago.

It wasn't really that they were different and that the British colonists were more racist. Actually, the reason for the Spanish mixing and the British not mixing was because the Spanish had a lot of bargaining chips that put a huge amount of natives on their side in places with large centralized amerindian imperial governments. The British had jack shit to offer the natives besides alcohol and guns, and the north American natives also didn't have overlords that they hated, so the British were more or less on the defensive the entire time against enemies that they had nothing to bring to the table for. The Spanish also conquered more populated areas in general, and more of everything, because the Spanish conquered almost the entirety of both continents with the exception of Brazil, the 13 colonies, and Canada.
The latter case was, however, the situation that the Spanish found themselves in in places like Argentina and Paraguay, and also the modern day southwestern US, and they did not really mix with the people here either, which is why Tejanos in Texas tend to be a hell of a lot whiter than other Mexicans.
