Divorce has significantly become more common after no fault divorces were legalized, which later dipped down due to people vetting out marriages and getting married later in life. Nowadays women don't care as much about having a provider because they can have their own income, so they prioritize things like looks and height way more. You have many women that are stuck in marriages simply because their husbands have resources, however they are not sexually attracted to them at all so the man is used simply as a provider. These are the kinds of women that withhold intimacy, use sex as an ultimatum for tasks a man should never have to do like clean the house or cook food, humiliate the man in public or on social media, cheat and deceive behind their husband's backs, and overall not reciprocate the marriage back even after all the things the man did to commit to her.
It shouldn't be the husband's job to cook, clean, and change the baby's diaper especially if he is the breadwinner of the house. Many women get upset when they hear this from me, but they simply are projecting their laziness acting like they have the hardest job in the world. I have babysat my 2 nephews for almost a month and I can assure you women love to exaggerate how "difficult" house work with children is.
