I've been told by people in the NAVY that the psychological screening is the first and most important screening for being accepted to BUD/S. Specifically, that they're intently looking for psychopaths (calculated, charming, and emotionally cold) that they can train to be compliant killers. Notice how almost every SEAL is always caught up in some controversy of them lying about their military exploits and abilities. That program intently looks for mentally broken men to train. The worst cases of war crimes in Iraq/ Afghanistan were by the SEALs.
