I like low fat milk. I tried this mythical raw milk, from pasture raised cows. My stomach was not prepared for all of the enzymes and ‘healthy bacteria’. I felt unwell for a few days afterwards. Never again. Raw butter was pretty gross as well.
Raw milk isn’t as good as whole milk. Thats got to be a combination of factors including diet, breed, and location. Because when I was a kid it was the best sweetest and thickest milk and now it tastes too grassy. But raw butter is clearly superior in flavor. I sometimes even make it at home so I can double the salt or add truffle salt.
