Jean Delville (born 1867) was a Belgian painter, and a seeker of esoteric knowledge. Many of his paintings are of different spiritual ideals, trying to capture the essence of humanity and the divine. He thought that art was meant to show beauty and idealism, that it should not be ugly.
Idk man. It’s cool and all but looks a tad satanic. Get bad vibes looking at it. I’d rather look at Beksinski’s work. A little more raw but still philosophical with religious themes.
I have a feeling he'd feel right at home here.
