The Bard is a painting made in 1776 by Thomas Jones. It's a depiction of the last scene of a poem of the same name. A Welsh bard curses King Edward, before throwing himself off a cliff. The Welsh bard tells the king of all the evil that will befall his family line, the Plantaganets, and predicts the future rule of the Tudors.
