At the end of the day, the Epstein thing seems to be just the next in a long line of failures to 'dump Trump': Russia collusion conspiracy theory, hush money, documents at Mar-A-Logo, 'shithole countries' remark, etc.
Look not merely at the events but at how many men Leftists have put faith in to bring down Trump; for instance, Comey, Mueller, Cohen, Avenatti (hilariously himself in jail), Strzok, Bragg.
Notice that if Trump did not win a second term, no resurgence of interest in Epstein would ever have occurred. Leftists and most others were willing to believe the incredulous claim that he committed suicide very cohen-cidentally right when the camera wasn't operating. Yids were also fine with that, since keeping the long line of notorious yids in the spotlight, like Bankman-Fried, Madoff, Weinstein, etc. is exactly how 'anti-semitism' can spread.
Yids throw each other under the bus when it's expedient to do so. In pre-expulsion medieval Britain, a wealthy yid named Abraham of Berkhamsted got himself in great trouble with the British state for coin-clipping, for defecating on a statue of Mary holding Jesus, and for murdering his own wife. The yids wanted him put to death before he could implicate them in their own crimes, so Abraham accepted a deal in which, if he were not executed, he would spill the beans on all of these other yids calling for his execution. Thus numerous of the yids who wanted the state to put him to death to hide their own crimes were themselves exposed and punished for them.
Back to the present day. For years, the masses were content to accept the official narrative about Epstein, that there was nothing to see here. But as soon as Leftists thought that Epstein held the key to getting rid of Trump, they couldn't help themselves but to obsess about the man, hence this resurgence of interest that otherwise would not exist.
Ultimately, however, I think that this is merely the latest in a long line of nothing-burgers about Trump. Epstein doesn't hold any key to Trump's downfall. Amusingly, the resurgence of interest in Epstein only provides ammunition for 'anti-semites'. There are obviously problems with Trump, but I don't think that being a closeted pedophile - the Left's hope - is one of them.
