I just saw some clip of an old yenta with a shaved head, saying she was a Bondi victim who had been given the fake name “Karen Jones” to protect her inside the hospital from some theoretical further violence. (Of course she was complaining about this—if they hadn’t given her a fake name she’d be complaining about that.).

It was simply ludicrous because, aside from her looks, Miriam Shekelovich had the thickest Jewish accent imaginable. In no universe could she be mistaken for a “Karen Jones”.
