So this came up on a post that was claiming that the Alex Pretti "recent ICE victim" is a crisis actor
I was reminded of the writing of Miles Mathis; he frequently argues a bunch of things are fakes and scams like this incident (I guess the logic is that it's easy to fake these things for achieving various goals, so why not fake them?)
Don't totally agree with some of his takes (he's not anti-religious but exerts some skepticism I think's unwarranted with some religious subjects) but basically he finds publicly available info that seems contradictory or unlikely to be true and suggests convincing alternative opinions about what's going on
That said, he did seem to me to call out a bunch of contradictions on things that are in plain view which makes me pause to consider his... broadly skeptical views on a lot of topics where posters here already agree with him on certain issues that he expands upon
