Matthew 6:5 "And when ye pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, that love to stand and pray in the synagogues and corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men: Amen I say to you, they have received their reward."

Those who feel the need to shout from the rooftops "look at me! look at me! I'm a Christian" are the ones who have the weakest faith. It is performative, an act to make up for the lack of true purpose in their lives.

Those of us who are resolute in our faith have no need to announce it to others.
