I tried my hand at game dev, found I just didn't have the time with a full time job and a house and a family to take care of. Had an idea for a 2d top down isometric arpg. Doing all the artwork for the sprites and in game assets and environments just proved to be too time consuming. I'm not an artist so learning how to do good sprite work just took 95% of my working time so I gave up. I would enjoy working on a game as part of a team. I can do coding and world/map design and also music. If you'd like help with your project let me know.

More Diablo 2 inspired than Zelda. Darker themes, with a robust loot system. But with more modern features like endgame replayability with maybe a difficulty scaling infinite dungeon and online PvP.

That's a very ambitious project. Hyperfocus on one area that works as a standalone game and try to perfect that. No random loot or infinite levels.
