Yes, it's proven to work. "Regime change" they call it euphemistically, toppling a dictator, but it's just a form of "Democracy"-friendly occupation. Remember that the seeds for the Ukraine-Russia were planted in 2014, forcing Russia's hand. Today many people see Russia or Putin as some warmonger and aggressor. The same they did with Germany/Hitler.
I bet many Americans expect Germans to thank them on their knees for having saved them from the evil dictator Hitler.
