Unfortunately that's something you'll hear nearly every day. One of my friends has had three girlfriends and all of them cheated on him. There's no moral, nothing you can take away. Some stories don't have a happy ending. Some are just depressing. If it turns you away from dating and love forever, so be it. That's your choice. A point might be to see it as her fault and hers alone. This was her choice, not anyone else's. You happened to end up with someone awful. You have my sympathy. There are a lot of people like that.
