There was one time over a decade ago where I met somebody in person who proudly called themselves an "Imgurian" and I still remember it to this day. When I asked him "Wait, Imgur? Like the Reddit image hosting site?" he got visibly upset and acted repulsed by the idea of the two being associated at all, and then proceeded to go on this fucking weird elitist rant about how Imgur is so much better than Reddit and that he's sick of redditors uploading pictures on "their site" lmfao. It was one of the strangest interactions I've ever had to endure, and he somehow managed to be even *more* of a massive soy-chugging, fedora-wearing turbofaggot than the majority of redditors, even at a time where Reddit as a website was basically just for weed, atheism, and "jailbait," and oh yeah some other stuff too I guess.
