I read American Psycho slop when I was 16 only because I wanted to know why it was being banned by so many libraries.
Typically I would have consumed something of value from the Penguin Classics list instead.
I don't recall any queer shit in that book, but yes, the author is a sodomite. 'Didn't know that at the time.
