How does living off the land solve anything?

You see what’s happening to the white farmers in South Africa?

What’s more effective in fighting the system? A guy with a successful law firm and a lot of money? Or a guy that grows vegetables?

I'm a fan of the guy, I even know his name is Luke. I think it's misleading to show an already successful guy who films extreme camping videos that he films for YouTube in remote areas that are only accessed with private planes. As far as the term "role model" I think trying to be like this guy isn't effective.

I think he’s a great role model. Successful lawyer and survivalist. Why wouldn’t he be a good role model.

My point is what I think most people are taking from this image doesn't match with the reality. It's not real, just like everything else made for entertainment.

I'll also add that compared to other online celebrities then yeah would be one of the best role models, but that's a pretty lame selection. We don't really know any of these people enough to look up to them.
