I am hearing some people talk about how Rh- blood is like some superior thing because it means you aren't racemixed. Even though I have Rh- blood, I don't really see anything special about it. Can anyone explain?

I believe only like 15% of women have negative blood types, and it’s mostly a Northern European trait. It used to be that negative blood type mothers would be able to have one positive blood type baby but then they develop antibodies against positive blood so any positive blood type baby after that would result in a miscarriage. They came up with a shot in the 60s that prevented negative blood type mothers from developing those antibodies meaning they could have positive blood type babies without miscarrying after their first positive blood type baby.

So it sounds like maybe they’re extrapolating something from the fact that negative blood type mothers is mostly a Northern European trait and saying “that means your ancestors didn’t race mix”, but I haven’t heard of this rumor so maybe they take some other bit of data to make that claim.
