It's the same reason the gov been particularly hard on european travelers. Europeans are very much anti Israeli. But America has been occupied for way longer than this, it's been occupied for well over 100 years. It's one of the original filthy 5 (a term I made up) of jewish occupied nations. The Netherlands, the UK, France, America, Russia in that order.
