If somebody acts abhorrently, I don’t think they can get a free pass if they feel bad about it later. Most of the time, it’s either fake or disingenuous anyways.

The Bible explicitly says that it was the Jews who killed Jesus Christ. It also says that Jesus' blood is on the Jews *and their children*, hence you should consider today's Jews responsible for killing Jesus.

I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. Justice doesn't get pushed to the side because a person believes in redemption.

Agreed. Justice should be the arbiter of physical punishment. Redemption happens within the individuals soul and manifests through his future actions.
