How does that work actually for a regular person? I picture paying thousands of dollars for a lawyer and they still win because they have an entire team of lawyers that pull some bullshit loophole.

Attenuated polio is floating around everywhere you take the inhaled version eventually just by exposure anyway but we have illegal shitskins from South America spreading the real thing here. The nasal spray is actually “safe and effective” although largely unnecessary we decided to get that before she started daycare because it insures immunity. The other vaccines (HIB) has basically eradicated meningitis and several related illnesses that can cause death in young children. We aren’t rich so we had to put her in daycare at 12 weeks, so those two were a prophylactic measure in case someone at daycare is spreading disease. All others are completely bullshit.

Polio spreads through water. Everyone used to get it as a kid, like chicken pox, and it was basically harmless.
It became dangerous when water fluridation started. Most kids would still get it but the hyper-coddled ones, who never swum in ponds or drank from the rainbarrel, never got it until they were grown and when it was much more dangerous.
When that started happening, people freaked out and, of course, stopped their kids from drinking outside and took them to hyperchlorinated pools to swim which only made the problem worse and, oh look, here's a magic tonic that stops you from getting polio (or at least it's not as bad, or whatever). Since there was never a study to ascertain the general downsides of vaccination (just it's effectiveness) everyone said "why not?" and then it became mandatory to protect the people who it would kill if they took it.
To be fair, the information we have sure does look like the polio shots prevent polio (for a period of time, at least) but even if they do, that doesn't matter if the risk of everything else if far greater than any potential benefit.

There are two, to my knowlege, studies done *ever* that examine how unvaccinate kids do, medically, compared to everyone else. The first was in Brazil (not to familiar with it) and the second was done with 18,000 medical records at the Henry Ford Medical Center in Michigan.
The kids who were vaccinated saw a 2-6 fold increase in medical visits due to:
-eczema
-diabetes
-ADHD (but interestingly not Autism)
-various neurological diseases such as stutters and learning disabilities
-various other minor conditions
There were no such increases in the unvaccinated group. They carry potential harm while providing no quantifiable value to the individual.
It's a scam, and always was. Think about the very premise: "Take this medicine I sell you and you won't get sick". *Maybe* that's true, but how can you ever know you *would have* gotten sick in the first place?
Today, there is no living memory of a time without a polio vaccine, so we could believe that every second baby died in the crib because of it (although that's not even cloae to statistical reality). But I grew up in a world without a chicken pox shot and there is absolutely no observable difference. Both are on the official vaccine schedule, just as important as each other.
