In my view the Vatican was quietly taken over in the 20th century with non-Catholics becoming "clergy"; around the time of Vatican 2 they got to implement their revolution against Catholicism as though it was coming from "Catholic authority" (they elected a "pope" of their own)
They then basically banned or "reassigned" or suppressed any voices like +Williamson. +Williamson was "excommunicated" for "schism" for being consecrated as bishop without papal permission in the SSPX. The SSPX needed bishops to continue its mission and the Vatican was trying to deny them and kill off "traditionalists". I get the impression the SSPX was "controlled" and not a genuine resistance and probably set up that whole drama to "lead Catholics in to schism".
So, not surprising "pope Leo" is "condemning a rise of antisemitism" instead of doing something like condemn the rise of Communism today. Very telling what he chooses to focus on and prioritize
