Too expensive, not gonna happen.

For businesses, a gallon of garbage oil is a few dollars. Beef tellow can be 15-20x that

Restaurants want to keep their margin; if a fries that cost $0.35 to make suddenly increases in price to $0.65, they won't increase the price of the fries from $5 to $5.30. They'll increase it to $9.30 at least. Muh profit margin

I don't know where you live but here in Toronto, we have a place that makes fries in beef tallow for $4.99 CAD or $3.50 USD.
