Agreed. He is trying to apply normal human morales to a God.

If applying normal human morales to a monarch or a politician does not work, it sure as hell won't function to apply them to a God.

For example, if an average citizen catches someone sleeping with his daughter and chops the dudes head off, He will go to jail, meanwhile a monarch doing the same is considered standard operating procedure.

Meanwhile any peasant in the present day who tries to do what politicians do on a daily basis will be killed/caged by ZOGbots for treason and trying to muscle in on ZOGs monopoly on extortion.
