> See? Bullying works! If only more folks were willing to bully these faggots, the world would be a better place!

Why do you think there was such a big push to get rid of bullying right before degeneracy was kicked into high gear?

The Palace of Westminster was complete in 1871, the same year as the end of the Franco-Prussian war ended. This year is known as the start of la Belle Époque.

In [1878 the first refrigerated ship was launched](https://www.freightwaves.com/news/maritime-history-notes-150-years-of-refrigeration).

Dewhurst butchers took advantage of this new technology by buying up Argentine beef farms and shipping the beef to Britain on their shipping service Blue Star Line.

Their other "innovation" was keeping the businesses separate ventures - the Limited Company Concept had only been introduced in 1865 - before that business was only permitted by the crown.

The Dewhurst brothers shifted the profits from Britain to Argentina, so by the time the meats arrived in their stores it was sold by their British entities for zero profit so they were not liable for UK tax - known these days as Transfer Pricing.

So actually these times were *the birth of globalization*.

It all came crashing down for the Belle Époque in 1914.

The Vesty brothers, owners of Dewhurst, went on to be some of the richest men in Britain but I'm their fight against tax they also created Financial Trusts so the money wasn't theirs, Non-Domicial Status - saying they lived in Argentina but were just visiting the UK for businesses and other tricks.

The one in Italy has some charm at least, reminiscent of a medieval guard tower

Architecture is an expression of art, and art puts you in touch with your own soul, the other worldly part of you, your connection to God. Art and religion are to me definitely linked, and religion inspires art and vice versa.
