The whole thing can be quite ponderous, presenting short and snappy highlights makes it more approachable to the casual reader.

I'm going to resume reading this again. It was kinda difficult to reach through the translated version without first digging into the historical context of Germany

There is a good copy I believe called the Dalton edition... Its newer but its much better and is not anti Hitler. Also has tons of good footnotes for context.

Try reading the Dalton edition as it has good footnotes for understanding historical and cultural references Hitler is making.
