I was at the mechanic shop waiting for an oil change and a couple very old (70+) and very Italian guys were chatting with each other. An Italian woman who knew them got into the convo also. They were just chatting about all the issues facing the world. The one guy exclaimed that "we need Benito back!" All of them agreed and the other guy said it seems like Indians are the biggest problem right now to which there were some nods.

I've encountered old folks that lived in the Soviet Union. None had anything overall nice to say. I've seen enough videos of Eastern Slavs with nothing nice to say about the Soviet Union.
