This isn't true. She faked being remorseful at sentencing. She was advised to by her criminal defender. She was not crazy as they initially claimed in an attempt to have no negative consequences for the racist attack, which almost worked as initially the court were going to drop the charges for mental incompetence but there was a mass backlash by the publice (except blacks who mocked the racially motivated random assassination).
