MacOS limits just about everything you can do

Windows is gobbling up your data

Every contributor to a Linux distro is a faggot

What is a man to do, except abandon desktop computing altogether?

>Every contributor to a Linux distro is a faggot

This isn't true. In fact there are distros such as Omarchy and OpenMandriva that explicitly state their desire to steer clear of identity politics and DEI policy in retaliation to any faggoty propaganda emerging in the Linux community. Then there are plenty of distros that simply don't talk about politics or inject them into their work at all. However, Apple is run by a faggot and Microsoft is wall to wall chock-a-block full of faggots.

Microshit is jeet central now. Their software just gradually gets worse and worse which is typical of anything a hindu shit gets their hands on.

This is absolutely correct. We’ve gone back in time where desktops today, despite its computer power, runs slower than a fresh install of windows XP.

I still remember my fury, when I launched calculator one time on my idling laptop and it took 10 full seconds to launch. Its mind boggling to think of the amout of calculations and data transfer that modern hardware could do in that time. It should be open before my eyes can ever register that I've finished clicking.

Yep, XP was peak Windows. It had all the drivers available for whatever peripherals you wanted, Direct X9, etc, etc.

Any specifically anti-faggot distros?

I don't know of any distros that come out and say they built the distro specifically because they were against LGBTQ stuff. But the ones I mentioned specifically said they aren't playing along with the current day politics like DEI and pride garbage. The distro I use is definitely centered around being an operating system and not a propaganda outlet.

Apple isn't run by a faggot (to my knowledge), but Tim Cook certainly acts like a Jew.

I have Linux set up on a computer, and I just don't bother to keep up with it's author. Some kind of Ubuntu, all I remember.

Upgrade your knowledge here:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2014-10-30/tim-cook-speaks-up

He's gay and has marched in pride parades. He's said "I'm proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me."

How did I not know that? Probably because I don't keep up with Apple's little Jewry presentations. The ones where they say "We added another camera onto the GoyPhone 19, pay us 1000 shekels now"

Disgusting mutant scum. He knows that God considers him an abomination, and that He will send him to Hell for all eternity after he and his hUsBanD die.

I use brave browser mostly because the guy that made it was originally cancel cultured and 2 gays pretending to have marriage taunted him.

Linux, for now I use mint. The foundation is mostly neutral and they stay away from snap package and other bottle necks for faggotry.

My rule is open source is fine even if made by your enemies. That's why I Bitcoin and why I Linux.

Ugh, snap.

I had apt-get in 2005. It worked fine. There is nothing new I need when it comes to installing programs.

So why are there now a dozen different installation systems, none of which work with the others?

My biggest gripe with Linux

Have you heard of PureOS from Puri.sm? Haven’t used it but they are supposedly opsec focused.

Don't they do purism? I like companies that do hardware to work with the software.its my biggest gripe running Linux. It's why a steam box might unironically become the best windows competitor.

Make your own OS.

I like MacOS. It’s good if you just need something that works right out the box. Install homebrew on it and you have a linux style package manager.

I’ve done the autistic linux thing before as well (even went as far as installing arch linux on a macbook air, that was a nightmare). Like VolanteEternity said, there’s enough flavors of linux to find something that isn’t gay.

I think there needs to be more exploration in the realm of BSD, check out FreeBSD or OpenBSD.

You could look into the BSD's like FreeBSD. I am pretty sure macOS is a derivative of BSD

Freebsd? The woke bsd that allowed "freebsdgirl" to dictate who was and wasn't allowed to contribute?

So everyone can download a Linux distro made by faggots and proceed to use the distro to call everyone a faggot online? Sounds good.

It's not a bad shout, there's one called bazzite that's optimized to play games that are usually stuck on windows. If they get a whiff of someone being vaguely conservative even, they'll scrub any contributions you've ever made.

Thanks for all the hard work queers, the sweat off your back means more slurs

That's what I say about Linux to everyone who still thinks you still need the terminal/command line to use and run apps on Linux. Nowadays it isn't much different from Winblowz: Just install, open and use.

Using Distributions like Linux Mint and Zorin OS is painless now.

When you can't find an open source program that you like, to do what you want, just use WINE and CrossOver. Simple.

On my computer, and in virtual machines, the terminal package manager runs better than the graphical one. I blame GNOME for this.

I'm on xfce, and GNOME apps are still a pain in the ass.

emulation (or whatever you call it when you use Windows stuff on Linux) is always a crapshoot. there's a whole page out there with a whole ranking system just to see what games can run through those emulators and how well, for example. it's not that simple.

and alt culture programs online are infamous for a reason. every other one has you set up some completely different compiler methodology that you then have to debug yourself when it inevitably doesn't work on the first try. just getting an .exe you can run for basically any Windows program has real value when you're trying to do things and don't want to waste time finding the cool open source version with 0.1x the features and usability instead.

our time on this Earth is too limited to be spending it figuring out random Linux crap, honestly. i think a debloated Windows with as much telemetry turned off as possible (through O&O ShutUp for example) is the best option for a real modern working man.
