You're 100% correct. These "luxury" brands have been exposed, making their wears in China with "final assembly" (like adding a single button) done in Italy or France to have the associated "Made in ..." label. CNBC researched who was buying these brands most. It's mostly people who make under $100k/year, meaning the poor are keeping themselves poor trying to *look* rich rather than investing that $5,000 for a fucking handbag.
That's also another reason Kayne was being attacked by (((the industry))); he was telling black people to quit trying to look rich and actually get rich by investing. Obviously, we can't have that idea going around, now can we?
