This movie got accused of *"RA-RA-RA RACISM!"* at the time of it's release.

White folks, of course, LOVED this film. They were "fatigued" even then and it was nice to see "themselves" on-screen.

"Deathwish" would be another film that caught on well with the public and caught the same accusations.

The Deathwish movies are fucking based. The scene in the 3rd one where grandpa pulls the MG-42 out of his closet and starts killing gangsters with it was pure kino
