I disagree with this. There is no hate in discipline. It’s all love. You love the body you have, you respect it, therefore you do what is necessary to keep it healthy, strong. Disrespect to it is opposite from love, its weakness, and you surrender to slavish desires, with no self control, destroying it. There is nothing hateful about exercising, and stengthening one’s mind and body. It should be love. The same can be said about family. Our environment. Our house, our home.
Maybe "discipline is doing what you hate to do" but it still feels weird.
Total rewrite: "Discipline is understanding long-term gratification and multi-generational prosperity." But that isn't memey.
