Imo nothing wrong with gaming but you just have to limit the amount of time you do it. Lots of other hobbies are either social, let you get exercise or let you learn a skill and gaming is a bit lacking in those regards. Not that all of your time has to be productive, but it's easy to get too invested and sink a lot of time into

When I use to online game, I only did it to hook up with the boys occasionally when we couldn’t hook up in person. Anytime I had an option to do something physical, and/or social(leaving the house), I’d always force myself to do it instead of gaming. It’s unfortunate, but many people do the opposite now. I haven’t gamed in about 10 years now, but that’s how I always made sure it did t become an unhealthy hobby.

Edit: I also didn’t allow myself to game unless I had already gotten at least an hour of physical activity a day.
