The issue with nerves is legitimate but there are a whole lot of other assumptions about the shot to make it more complicated than it is. It's a 200 yard shot with an optic. You don't need a tripod, you don't need a spotter, etc. There is no reason to think the "neck" shot (really upper left-center torso) was intentional. It's more likely he was aiming center mass and that's just where the round hit.

It is reasonable to look for inconsistencies but you need to take a breather sometimes. It is too easy to "wargame" these scenarios to death and come up with unintended red herrings in tiny circumstantial details. Looking for more solid facts more important. Bottom line the shot was plausible, unless there is some physical impossibility introduced, it is reasonable to accept that.
