The one thing you have to understand about leftists is that they will believe in anything and everything that helps further their agenda, but they will only ever believe in those things as long as they serve their agenda (which is always the communist revolution).
The mental gymnastics required for this are in fact very easy to accomplish if you simply have no moral compass whatsoever. If a certain belief helps you advocate for your own position in the moment, you passionately defend it. If it doesn't help (or worse, helps your opponent), you ignore it.
For example, remember when back in 2020, a bunch of COVID sceptics were banned from Twitter for promoting "dangerous conspiracy theories", and all the lefties were cheering it on with slogans like "freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences", and gleefully pointed out that Twitter is a private company and therefore not bound by the First Amendment? So even though they all hate the free market and want nothing more than to abolish it, they have no problem cheering for it whenever it happens to do something they agree with.
Well, now the shoe is on the other foot, and some of them have lost their jobs after publicly celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk. Do you think lefties still believe in private companies' freedom not to associate with people whose opinions they disagree with? Of course not. Now they're back to "freedom of speech is absolute, and no one should ever be allowed to get fired for simply having an opinion". In fact, they don't even remember ever having had any other opinion on this issue.

Exactly. They are *not* stupid and, in fact, it does require an above average intelligence to hold a completely fabricated view of the world. What they are is evil; they reject Truth and think they can tell the world how it should be (ie Kabbalah word magic).
This is only the activist types, though. Most of their support base are people (read: women) who don't think at all beyond "I want people to see me as a good person without having to do the work to *be* a good person", which is the Leftist platform.

Yep they hate him because (among other things) he was a Christian and then they turn around and say "well he wasn't a good person by my arbitrary moral standards so he is going to hell".
Anyone paying attention to this loses. Just more division among whites. Sigh.

I think this whole thing will actually help that. They're currently possessed and see nothing wrong with their actions. They're able to get away with these feelings because their echo chambers include major media outlets so they can think of themselves as normal.
