Actually i've seen an increase in people driving recklessly with no concern for others. I'd like police to step up road enforcement for people driving recklessly or weaving in and out of traffic or racing from stop light to stop light and braking hard like it's a fucking go kart race. It burns more fuel and wears out brakes faster and gets you to your destination no meaningful amount of time faster. Better gas mileage is slow acceleration and better for your brakes and suspension to not overuse brakes since brakes cause heat and the heat spreads to your suspension and wheels and heat causes more wear on parts.
Seriously, the law enforcement leadership and politicians sell us all on these big brother license plate readers and "traffic cams" and all this tracking bullshit for "muh safety, muh investigations", but then they still allow these idiots to chase other idiots for misdemeanor reckless driving charges like this. Fun fact, some agencies have tracker darts that they shoot and they're supposed to pierce and stick into plastic bumpers or thin metal trunks so the cops can track and follow stolen cars. Why aren't they using that here?
