Because modern jews are mostly Canaanites, a Hamitic (negro) race. Theres some Edomite (Hebrew) and Japhetites in them, but 50% of their genome is Canaanite, the enemies of the original Israelites.

There are multiple kinds. The german looking ones are probably khazars, but the Sephardis are most likely Canaanites mixed with other things.
