this is a misrepresentation of what the kocek was. the entire point of the kocek was demoralization, not what this implies.
the kocek was where the occupying force came in, took the next generation of young men, enslaved them all, put them in slave labor. for some of them, they were forced into being gay/tranny prostitute sex slaves, often even mutilating their genitalia well beyond mere sterilization. and back then, that shit was even more barbaric than the crazy shit they do today.
