sure, if you could guarantee it would never be able to be abused, and 100% of people subject to it were overwhelmingly guilty by a standard even higher than "reasonable doubt"... then sure. and at that rate, i'd say fuck appeals, just hold the execution immediately after conviction.

but we can't guarantee that. look at all the bullshit political persecutions of orange man.
