Cool youtube video. This guy's work is similar to the work i do. I fix lots of things to make money or take old appliances people throw out or let me haul away for free and fix them and resell them.
If you are young i do recommend the trades. There are millions of homes all over the damn place inhabited by retards who don't have a clue how to fix anything.

The problem is that tradesmen are not well respected and people often don't want to pay us a fair wage or hourly rate when there is a fat affirmative action dyke working at the local government county office HR office in air conditioning making $50-$75 per hour when you calculate their salary and benefits and the cost of funding their pension, the employer payroll taxes, etc. So if a plumber comes and fixes a leak or an HVAC tech comes and fixes your air conditioning when it is over 120 degrees in your attic, don't bitch about paying $200-$400 service charge for real fucking work getting done, not the dyke in your county HR office who isn't doing shit but filing her nails.
So the way i solved this problem is that i am picky about my customers. If i dont like customers i raise the price or just tell them i am not available. How much i like customers is their level of gratitude and respect for the work i do, or even their interest in how we fix it and how it works. If they are customers i like then i lower my rate and try to do more business with them. That way i don't have to cater to the entire fucking public like i would if i hate a walk-in store front store where i'm required to let violent thieving niggers and faggots enter the store and pick pocket or else i'm violating civil rights.
The ability to make good wage / rate, and pick and choose your customers makes the trades awesome compared to being wage slave required to deal with every faggot that approaches a store front.
People who complain about how much skilled repair work costs are fucking retarded, imo. If I need plumbing or HVAC or something complicated in my car fixed, I typically wonder how my bill is even paying the worker's bills. Sure I could be frustrated that I have to pay that cost when I'd rather be spending my money on other things, but I never feel like I'm paying "too much" for that service.
