I sadly can't attend the Feast today (its 28th already where i live) but at least i attended the vigil and the Forefeast. We also had a casket covered with a blue shroud of the Theotokos, and a beautiful silver and gold icon of the Dormition and lots of fresh flowers.

The context is the date. August 28th is the Dormition of the Theotokos. Hence the Feast, because we just spent two weeks fasting in preparation.
