How do you know he will be court martialed? He's just "under investigation". They don't have any thing they can charge him with under the UCMJ, not even Article 134. What they can do, however, is remove his security clearance, give him poor evaluations, and in time discharge him and a discharge code that makes him ineligible to reenlist.
They can always get you by saying you cannot make political statements in uniform. Insubordination because muh you're attacking an "ally". Or some catch all like conduct unbecoming of a snco.
Don't jump to conclusions.
