The deer wasn't their property, it came and went as it pleased. Louisiana state university keeps a live tiger that they have no problem with so I don't get it
it's demoralization, nothing more, nothing less. they want to demonstrate the ruthless cruelty they can inflict, and then remind you endlessly that there's nothing you can do about it, so that you are too demoralized to resist anymore. no law was being violated here as the deer was not a pet, free to come and go from their property as it saw fit.
this is why it's so important to remove these tyrants from positions of power, and never stop fighting back, ever.
