Results of Arthabaska, Québec by-elections are in. Around 60% of registered voters, voted.
Parti Québécois ( less woke center-left nationalist, pro-independance ) : 46.3%
Parti Conservateur du Québec ( semi-libertarian Conservatives, pretty detached from federal Conservatives ) : 35%
(Nobody outsides the woke left buy the claims that it's ''far right nazis''.)
Liberal Party of Québec ( woke center antinationalist ) : 9.3%
Coalition Avenir Québec ( center federalist semi-nationalist ) : 7.2% total collapse from previous elections when they won a landslide
Québec Solidaire ( ultra woke hard left ) : 1.47%, massive drop.
QS claimed that this election was a run between ''the right and the far-right'', because of course.
Climat Québec ( woke climate cultists ) : 0.26% Politically irrevant, because other parties mostly share its climate ideology here.
A win for nationalism. None of the more woke parties could get over 10%.
Ethnic Québécois are mostly sick of being called racists for everything, being discriminated against on their own land, sick of the invasion by foreigners ( but won't dare say it, so they voted for the parti proposing the lowest immigration ).
If the PQ wins the next elections, there will be major political clashes because they want to lower immigration ( Canada has no intention to control its borders againts invaders ), remove woke anti-White guidelines in laws and tribunals. Which will be dragged in courts up to the Supreme Court of Canada, which will rule to keep the woke law and tribunal guidelines.
Problem is, the Québécois have weak spines and seem pretty comfortable leeching off federal transfers ( other province's money ). And their leaders, even the PQ, usually folds like wet cardboard when journoïds bring the accusations of racism.
P.S. : For the lulz, a podcaster mocked the hard Left Québec Solidaire for complaining about ''the 1%'', since they have 1% of the vote.
