and it's here, right now. during the BLM riots, when the rioters broke down the gates to the mccloskey's home in missouri, they walked outside with their guns and told the people to leave. instead of criminally charging the rioters, the cops went after the homeowners whose homes were being invaded. and when the prosecutor realized she wasn't going to be able to get a conviction, she ordered the cops in writing to tamper with evidence so she could at least try to charge them with more crimes. ultimately, the homeowners would have been better off to just start shooting. there's no valid excuse for bashing in a stranger's front gate and charge up to their doorstep. it would have been plainly castle doctrine, completely valid self defense, if the mccloskeys shot 30+ rioters right then and there on their doorstep and driveway.
