Get skills white man so you can use them at places that don’t hire white men anymore, or get hired on, and be forced to work with niggers all day to make peanuts in comparison to what it costs to “live” now while also being told you’re lazy, and have no work ethic for not carrying the niggers, not wanting to work 80 hours or more a week just to have a roof over your head.

>making just enough to raise a family like we did 100 years ago

The average income 100 years ago was about $5,000, which adjusted for inflation would be about $100k today. The median household income today is $80k. In other words, people made 25% more 100 years ago than today.

An average new home 100 years ago was around $5k-$10k, which adjusted for inflation would be about $100k-$200k. The average home value today is $500k. In other words, homes cost 1-2 years of a typical salary 100 years ago whereas today they cost 6-7 years of a typical salary.

Shut the fuck up.

>average income 100 years ago

>median **household** income today is $80k

So it's actually something like $40k per person. If you want your wife to be able to stay home and raise the kids, call it 12-14 years.

Pretty big difference, no?

This is a false assumption. 100 years ago 1 income households could afford all of those things and more.

100 years ago people did not freely travel nor consume as much as they do today - you are gaslighting the comparatives. People did not freely take a flight from Los Angeles to Paris as if a casual commute with the family. People did not regularly buy a new car or stove or .. the quantity requirements were vastly more moderate.

False. Around the 1910s you could cross the Atlantic in a luxury liner in about 4 days for around $2000 (in modern value dollars) so people did travel

>you are gaslighting the comparatives.

Even without consumption and travel, there’s absolutely no comparison and people make less today.
