Actually, a lot of Christians *are* named after Jesus, just a different translation of His Name. Joshua is actually identical in Hebrew to Jesus, the Church basically made the distinction when translating into Latin because there were a lot of Hebrews named Jesus, and they wanted to distinguish them from *The* Jesus.
