Not just spoiled, but spoiled in ways that they can’t even begin to fathom, and understand. They literally grew up in what was a white utopia dreamworld that no amount of money can buy today. Boomers got to experience all the best decades as far as upward mobility, creature comforts including tech that wasn’t overly intrusive and nannyfying are concerned, and little to no niggers at all. Even if you did have some show up, you still had plenty of affordable places to move to avoid most, if not all of them. The 50s-09/11/2001 was peak America IMHO. Everything after that has been blatantly Israel 2.0. Now we live in an Israeli surveillance state of degeneracy, and slavery, and many boomers still continue to tell us to pull up our bootstraps, and take our medicine. That’s the part that pisses me off. I don’t care that they took advantage of their great lot in life, and time, but stop acting like you didn’t have it on easy mode.

>tell us to pull up our bootstraps

This coming from a generation that could actually just go to college and automatically get a high paying job for life.

Actually just being a milkman would be enough to make it back then lol.

They didn’t even have to go to college and could get a job making an ought to have a decent life.

And their parents were traumatized and allowed the tv to shape the men

TBF though, the TV was new back then, and nobody really knew the harm it would cause at that point. I feel this is more of an argument to be had over every gen after that including smart phones, and tablets too.

Yeah, but that's not the worst part.

Almost every Boomer I know *roundly rejected* their parent's ideas about how to raise kids and instead opted to take advice from (((self-help gurus))) like Barbara Colorosa. Their parents created a world in which they were the ultimate focus of energies and, instead of doing the same for their kids, they latched on to dozens of totally nonsensical theories of parenting that publishers were pulling out of their asses. Most of them characterize their parents as borderline abusive when, in reality, they probably had the best parents in a hundred years.
